Constituency Statement

On March 22, Josh spoke in the House about some recent events he attended in the electorate. These included the Kew Rovers Football Club's Family Fun Day,  the Kew Community Festival parade, the Boroondara Netball Association's recent AGM, the Relay for Life fundraiser held at John Gardiner's Reserve and the National Ride2School Day at Auburn South Primary School. Parliamentary Adjournment Debate on North Africa & the Middle East

On March 22, Josh spoke in the House about Libya and the United Nations Security Council endorsed no-fly zone. Click here to read or watch Josh's speech.


Kew Rovers Family Fun Day

On March 20, Josh attended the Kew Rovers Family Fun Day at Stradbroke Park, Kew. Josh is proud to be the Number One Ticket Holder of this great local footy club. Josh is pictured here with some of the Club's young and budding champions.


Camberwell Primary School's French Fete

On March 20, Josh opened Camberwell Primary School's famous French Fete. While his French language efforts were none too impressive he did enjoy the escargot. Under the leadership of Principal Madame Helen Warnod the school has a vibrant community and provides its students with a meaningful bilingual environment. Relay for Life Fundraiser

On March 19, Josh attended the opening ceremony of the Cancer Council’s Relay for Life fundraiser for cancer research at John Gardiner's Reserve, Hawthorn. There were over 50 dedicated teams who ran for 24 hours to raise money for cancer research. Josh is pictured here with Premier of Victoria and Member for Hawthorn, The Hon Ted Baillieu, Boroondara mayor, Cr Nicholas Tragas, Boroondara councillor, Cr Coral Ross, Director of Cancer Council Victoria, Professor David Hill AOand event organisers.


Kew Community Festival Family Fun Day

On March 19, Josh attended the Kew Community Festival Family Fun Day at Alexandra Gardens, Kew. Josh is pictured here with Yvonne as the official judges of entrants in the opening parade with the winners being Kew East Primary School, St Paul's College and St Anne's Primary School.


Catholic Education Week

On March 17, Josh visited St Joseph's School, Hawthorn, as part of Catholic Education Week. Josh is pictured here with principal Gilbert Keisler.


New Aquatic & Fitness Centre

On March 17, Josh visited Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar, Canterbury. Josh met with students and staff and saw their new aquatic and fitness centre. Josh is pictured here in the new gym.


National Ride2School Day

On March 16, Josh attended National Ride2School Day at Auburn South Primary School, Hawthorn East. National Ride 2 School Day highlights the benefits to kids as well as the environment that are gained when children ride, scoot or walk to school. Josh is picture here with a group of grade 3 students from Auburn South Primary School.

 


New Vicar at Christ Church Anglican Church

On March 15, Josh attended the Institution of Rev. Andrew Dircks at Christ Church Anglican Church, Hawthorn. Josh is pictured here with the new Vicar, Rev. Dircks, the Archbishop of Melbourne, the Most Rev. Dr Phillip Freie, and Assistant Minister of Christ Church, Rev. Nathanael Clarke.
