e.motion21 Dance Concert

On November 28, Josh attended the inaugural e.motion21 dance concert at Xavier College. E.moton21 is a unique not-for-profit organisation that provides dance and fitness opportunities for children and young adults with Down’s syndrome. Josh is pictured here with Founder and President, Cate Sayers, her husband Luke and four daughters.


Congratulations to Ted and the Team for the wonderful victory on November 27

On November 27, Josh was out on the hustings supporting the Liberal candidates in the state electorates of Box Hill, Kew, Hawthorn and Burwood. Ted Baillieu’s fantastic win is a tribute to his strong leadership and hardwork and the new Liberal Government will see Victorians far better off. A big congratulations also to the re-elected members for Box Hill, Robert Clark MP; Kew, Andrew McIntosh MP and the newly elected member for Burwood, Graham Watt, who ran a great campaign to return the seat of Burwood to the Liberals. I also wish all other Liberals elected to the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council the very best for the forthcoming Parliament. Josh is pictured at North Balwyn Primary School polling booth with the re-elected member for Kew, Andrew McIntosh MP and his family, former Victorian minister for industry, Mark Birrell, and a group of hard-working volunteers.


Presentation of the Australian flag to North Balwyn Bowls Club

On November 27, Josh enjoyed afternoon tea with members of North Balwyn Bowls Club after presenting them with a new Australian flag. Josh is pictured on the bowling green with club president Colin McLaren, senior vice president Stephen Coles, past president Graham Ford and Graham McAdam.


Parliamentary Adjournment Debate on St Mary of the Cross

Parliamentary Motion on Burma’s Aung San Suu Kyi

Visit to Monash University’s Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute

On November 19, Josh visited the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute at Monash University. ARMI is a world leading regenerative medicine and stem cell research centre. Josh is pictured here with former health minister Kay Patterson, the Member for Goldstein, Andrew Robb, and head of strategic development at ARMI, Michael Spiegel.


Parliamentary Statement on Afghanistan

Official Opening of Camcare’s new premises in Camberwell

On November 10, Josh attended the official opening by the Governor of Victoria of Camcare’s new premises in Camberwell. Camcare is a not-for-profit, community based organisation meeting a range of support needs arising from unemployment, ill health, relationship difficulties, financial stress and hardship. Josh is pictured speaking with the Governor of Victoria, Prof. David de Kretser AC.


University of the Third Age

On November 10, Josh was guest speaker at the University of the Third Age in Hawthorn. U3A provides a range of educational courses and seminars for retired and semi-retired adults.  Josh, pictured here with student Nan Rodd and tutor Peter Isaacson, spoke about his political journey and a range of key economic, demographic and foreign policy issues facing Australia.


All Hallows Primary School

On November 9, Josh attended All Hallows Primary School in Balwyn and met with Principal Michael O’Riley, his students, their teachers and parents. Josh is pictured here with Genny Nunan, Judy Gibbs and Father Brendan Reed.
