Launch of Roland Perry's 'The Changi Brownlow' in Hawthorn

On 11 August, Josh attended the launch of Roland Perry's latest book 'The Changi Brownlow' at Readings, in Hawthorn. Roland, pictured here with Josh, has written an inspirational story about the Australians, who following the fall of Singapore in 1942 and subsequently held as POWs in Changi Prison, set up an Australian Football League - it had the works, coaches, umpires, tribunal and selection panel. Amazingly the final game of the season between 'Victoria' and the 'Rest of Australia' was played in front of 10,000 spectators and a very special Brownlow Medal was awarded.

On 9 August, one of Kooyong’s favourite sons came home to launch Josh’s campaign. He received a rousing reception at the Launch and went on to meet a number of small business owners in Kew. Having been an effective local Member for 28 years and a Liberal Party leader he knows what is required to have a successful political career. His support is greatly appreciated.

On 7 August, Ted Baillieu joined Josh and supporters on the streets of Hawthorn. It was a great opportunity to meet with shoppers and listen to the issues of major concern to them. Feedback on the Liberal's performance is very positive as we head into the final two weeks of the Federal campaign.
